With this shoot, the ad wanted to sell Giffin & Crane as being a company that paid attention to every detail of the finished house. It was decided to focus on the kitchen that exemplified the Mediterranean feel of the house rather than yet another exterior photograph.

The only real problem encountered was the size of the kitchen. While it was not small, neither was it very large. But the light coming in the windows was supeb, the artifical light was lovely and gave great ambiance. My lighting just had to bring up the contrast to reproducable levels without destroying the ambiance of the existing light.

The client had indeed given loving attention to detail and the main thing this photographer had to do was let the room speak for itself.
