Alain Ducasse is not only the world's highest rated chef by the Michelin Guide (6 stars) but one of the world's most successful culinary entrepreneurs. He was a 3 star chef (only 17 in the world) when we did this coverage for Culinary Trends of Ducasse's own country inn, up in the hills above Nice in southern France. The food is simple and rustic but with a modern sophistication. We tried to capture both the country simplicity of the establishment and the up-scale sophistication as well. |
