Greneuilles with a Garlic Purée and Parsley Sauce of Chef Bernard Loiseau, Burgundy, France
|
|
This shot was of the starters set in his most famous sauce of parsely puréed with water. This was one of five recipe shots we did for Culinary Trends magasine. The story was on one of France's top chefs, one of only 17 world wide with 3 Michelin stars. Once again, weather did not favor us with cold wind and rain all three days we were at the Côte d'Or, as it was then called. So I had to use a flash in a small soft box. Since the out of doors was so gloomy, I decided that the marvelous old floors provided a better sense of the ambiance of the establishment than any other setting. So we shot on various of the floors with some shots set up against some of the antique furniture. |
