The "Boob Burger" was part of a small surealistic series using parts of the body with food dishes and still lifes.
The object was to simply challenge the mind's assumption that there would be a beef burger in the bun.
In this case, it was also an editorial comment on the American approach to sex that was distinctly commercial - fast food sex. Not only did young people practice sex in this way but treated it on a commercial basis as well.
This approach can be used in advertising to give the viewer a double take and thus tend to stay with the image a bit longer, hopefully to lodge the brand in the memory.
