PETER D'APRIX shoots people in many ways. He shoots candids in a photo journalistic style when shooting annual reports, brochures or travel stories.
He also shoots in a portrait style with lighting either in his studio or on location when shooting the same brochures and annual reports where more formal executive photos are required.
He uses lighting that is designed to flatter and beautify that he perfected during his early professinal life when he worked in fashion. "I am an incurable romantic" he says. "I like to bring the beauty out in even the most mundane of subject matter, but with people there is always beauty inside. I like to bring that out to the surface when I shoot."
