Industrial or trade product photography, while designed to catch the eye, is really all about showing all the details of a company's product. Consumer is about wooing the over exposed comsumer to take a look at this product instead of the competition. While the product must be rendered attractively, the actual focus of the whole image is not really the product. It is a carefully designed image to reach out and grab the consumer, to reel lthem in to then focus on the product and read about it giving the company a chance to convince them to buy this product instead of that of the competition. The creative team must have given great thought to the targeted audience for the product and the image will have been developed to achieve that effect. The photographer must carry out producing the image to which much time, expense and thought has been devoted. |
