The client had no idea that their product could look so good. Clients are so close to the functionality of their products that they seldom can stand back and see the dynamic visual qualities of those same products. Given some freedom, the photographer can often identify ways to making dramatic and eye catching images that will draw potential customers to the images and thus to the copy that accompanies them. The trick is to catch the attention of someone flipping through a magazine or shuffling litterature of several competitors in order to decide who to contact first. As strong visual accomplishes this.
