Our "How To Photograph for Business" workshop

This catagory will actually be broken down into several differen workshops, but what they all have in common is the need in all business for internally generated photographs be they of products, people, documenting processes, illustrating operating instruction and "how to" manuals etc.

Often last minute photos have to be taken to illustrate to a client an idea, stage of production of their product and so on. Many times businesses work with sub-contractors and it is necessary for insurance and legel purposes to document work being done at various stages of completion just in case...

In Brief:

The goal of this workshop is to teach people in busines how to take photos that will be useful in the busines, achieve the goals necessary with them and thus save employee time and make their work all the more effective.

All business photos must show what is required of them or they are useless. If litigation is based on the image and what it does or does not show, a lot of money could be at stake. Our workshop will help employees learn how to use their digital camera sometimes even helping pick the right one that will achieve their purposes from the bewildering array out there for sale, to get the right quality image. It will help them understand that light is essential to getting a readable photo, not just the camera.

In some cases where products are to be photographed, a simple lighting class is included where at very low cost using hardware-store equipment, students learn to bring out the necessary features of most products.

This understanding of basic lighting also extends to photographs of people.

Then, once the image is captured, students are led through the computer process of downloading and preparing the photo for printing and/or web-email use; of fixing and improving the end resutls.

The ROI is obvious - time saved is money saved; the correct equipment purchased the first time around; no clients lost through poor images; no litagation lost through lack of evidence; happy clients with fast turnaround; reports presented on time; punchy PowerPoint presentations, the list is endless.

And to top it off, if there are 8 or more employees, we can hold the workshops at your place of business on your own work stations, after work hours or on week-ends.
