I have been a photographer for more years than I care to remember. It seems a camera has always been in my hand. My passion has been to capture the world around me, first as a photojournalist, then as an advertising photographer.
Every photograph tells a story. This is as true in editorial portraiture as in any other field of photography I just like to control the story by choosing the moment and drawing the story with light and visual design.
Sometimes I feel the best way to capture someone is in a more formal lighting situation, other times it is in a spontaneous available light situation totally unposed and natural.
